The HoboHost homepage shows the Floor annual promotion as $11.00 hosting + $5.88 cPanel license = $16.88 for the first year. Its renewal FAQ says Floor’s hosting portion renews at the pre-promo $12.00 per year.
If the license charge remains $5.88, the combined renewal would be $17.88 per year. That is a calculation, not a permanent price promise. Separating the license improves visibility, but shoppers must still include it in the total. Check the current plans and limits before ordering.
Hostinger: renewal rates alongside long-term offers
On Hostinger’s official pricing page, the 48-month Premium offer showed $2.99/month, $143.52 upfront, and a displayed renewal rate of $10.99/month. The page explains that the full term is prepaid.
Hostinger also labels the domain and Premium mailbox offer as free for one year. Those dates matter when budgeting beyond signup. Confirm the actual renewal term and invoice total in your account or checkout; multiplying $10.99 by 12 gives an annualized equivalent, not proof that your next invoice covers one year.

DreamHost: initial payment and renewal rate on the plan card
The US-dollar view of DreamHost’s pricing page showed Web Hosting Launch at $2.89/month for the first year, with $34.68 upfront for 12 months before tax. The same card displayed automatic renewal at $10.99/month after one year.
The page also states that selected terms are prepaid, taxes and optional extras are additional, and email is billed separately after the listed three-month trial. The first-year domain inclusion has its own renewal cost. These disclosures help distinguish hosting from the complete website budget; check the selected currency, term, and final invoice.
Namecheap: renewal totals by billing cycle
Namecheap’s official May 2026 shared-hosting pricing notice publishes the following Stellar renewal amounts:

The notice says the updated rates apply to renewal invoices issued on or after May 19, 2026. These are renewal prices, not introductory offers. An annual invoice should be compared with other annual totals, not with a different provider’s promotional monthly equivalent. Check your current invoice for the exact package, billing cycle, and additional charges.
Published renewal rates do not mean prices never change
A provider can publish a clear renewal rate and later update its pricing. Namecheap’s dated change notice is an example of why a research date matters. Likewise, a separately identified license fee can change even when the base hosting price is stable.
Two different promises: “We show you the renewal price” is a disclosure practice. “Your price will never change” is a price guarantee. Do not infer the second from the first. If a guarantee matters to you, read its written scope and exclusions.
